Friendly reminder that the United States has not won a major military conflict since WWII, which was actually mostly won by the Soviet Union and Britain, despite spending more on the military than almost all other countries combined.
US military power is mostly illusory and terrifying rather than real. They can inflict lots of death and terror, and they regularly do, but they cant win. I am not sure if that is more scary or comforting.
