“Police are not workers and their “jobs” are not hard, policing has its roots in catching enslaved people on the run and breaking strikes, they don’t prevent crime and most of their arrests and convictions are connected to the Drug War which is a re-branded form of political repressoon against communities of color that started in the 60s. So don’t start with this “dialogue” shit and “community policing,” anybody promoting that nonsense is accomplishing nothing but improving the police’s public image and making it easier for them to get away with murder.”
