Hey everyone! So it has been my goal from the start of my transition to undergo Facial Feminization Surgery in order to alleviate my dysphoria and allow me to navigate the world more safely. As recently as this year, I was attacked in public (in the parking lot outside my house) because I am visibly trans. 

In 2019, I will have to go abroad, including to Putin’s Russia, in order to conduct necessary research for my PhD. As a poor grad student with no financial support from my transphobic family, I cannot afford this surgery on my own. 

10k may seem steep, but believe me that i have done my best to find the cheapest surgical options I can while remaining safe. Any donation you can make helps, and I hope to have the procedure done in Summer 2019 before I go abroad. 

This would mean so much both for my mental health and physical safety. Please help if you can.
