Gypsy is a racial slur

I understand that very few people outside of the Rromani race know and can grasp the concept, but in English culture “gypsy” is a slur. “Gypsy” is not synonymous with “boho” or “indie” or any other hipster term you’re using to define your “edgy” posts. One of the only ways that I’ve found is effective in explaining to people who don’t understand, is by telling them that the term “gypsy” is like the equivalent to the “n-word” for Rromani peoples.
UNLESS YOU ARE RROMANI, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE TERM GYPSY. It’s really not a difficult concept.
