We think we can’t defeat capitalism because the only thing it’s good at (apart from lining the pockets of the rich at the expense of the poor) is appearing strong. But truly, capitalism is a teetering tower built on a foundation of sand.

The capitalist mode of production is built upon the simple reality that every scrap of wealth generated comes from the labor of a class of workers which does not own the conditions or tools with which that labor is carried out. Though the ruling class owns more these means of production and profits off of them, the reality is that they need the working class’ labor to sustain that profit, and the capitalist system itself. Without the working class’ labor, the system cannot function. With that in mind, an organized and class-conscious working class only has to refuse to work for the system to become unsustainable and rapidly collapse in around itself.
